DVD-Video

The most common type of DVD available, it is a high density optical disc with large capacity for storage of data, pictures and sound. DVD-Video discs mainly store video images and are used for feature films, television series and very limited games. Capacity is 4.7 GB for single sided, singe layer disc, approximately 7 times larger than that of a compact disc.
